Tim is a creative musician, workshop leader and tuba player, and works regularly with schools and arts organisations to deliver creative music projects across the country. Tim has worked with people of all ages, abilities and backgrounds to engage them in enjoyable music making.
Working for Music for Change, Tim regularly delivers high quality, fun and exciting music sessions for young children in nurseries and pre-schools in Kent.
In July 2010 Tim was involved in leading Music for Youth’s SCORE! - a performance by 5000 young people in St. Andrew’s football Stadium Other recent projects include the Special Olympics Opening Ceremony for the Philharmonia Orchestra, where Tim co-led a Fanfare at the Walker Stadium, as well as the BBC Family Orchestra during this year’s Proms, and projects for the Royal Philharmonic Orchestra and Royal Opera House.
Tim works for Spitalfields Music delivering music projects as well as interactive and innovative performances as part of the festivals. For the Ernest Read Symphony Orchestra, Tim has devised and delivered lively, interactive family concerts to bring high quality symphony orchestra performances to new audiences.
Tim is part of the creative team for Operahouse Music Projects, creating operas with schools, most recently Pensions For All.
