Specialist Instruments
Jennifer is a flautist and workshop leader whose specialism is engaging young people in Global Citizenship through music. In February 2009 she launched the creative education initiative FairBeats!,India. Funded by Youth Music’s Sound Connections, FairBeats! India explores Fairtrade issues through Indian music.
Jennifer is Education Director for Opera Unlimited whose project BIRDsWING inspires participants with the beauty of birdsong and explores environmental issues of habitat and protection.
Jennifer also works with harpist Federica Mossone giving concerts for patients at the Queen Elizabeth Hospital, Woolwich.
She completed her studies with Lebanese flautist Wissam Boustany at Trinity College of Music in July 2010 and received her Masters with distinction. Previous to this she studied music at Bristol University, graduating with 1st class honours.
