This 5 day accredited course explores how artists can bring a global context to their practice, fostering critical and creative thinking, open-mindedness to difference and an understanding of global issues and power relationships. The course will be of benefit to artists working in or new to educational and community settings, and provides the opportunity to:
Explore your role as an artist in education
Create inspiring cross-curricular projects with a global perspective
Maximise the impact and relevance of your work to schools and other govt. agendas
Experiment with new ideas for you practice and benefit from creative collaboration with peers, experienced artists and experts in the field.
