Biography

'H' is a fully trained and qualified dancer, percussionist, choreographer, filmmaker, visual artist, storyteller and performer. He started his training in Ghana and continued to learn both traditional and contemporary styles from Western and Eastern Africa and The Caribbean. As artistic director for the British Council's Diamond Jubilee dance project in West Africa, 'H' choreographed a production collaborating with artists from Ghana, Nigeria and Sierra Leone, and he has also worked closely with Dance-Hall and Reggae artists such as Buju Banton and Spragga Benz, resulting in a highly respected national and international reputation for his work in African and Caribbean arts.
