Global Picnic

Our vision is that all members of the community, especially children and young people, fulfil their creative potential whilst respecting and celebrating cultural diversity.

Our Work is broad.  We specialise in educational workshops, celebratory events and specifically targeted projects in just about any setting!

Our Artists

We work with artists who are experienced musicians, skilled in delivering workshops to large and small groups. We currently work with over 150 artists from around the world. Find out more about some them from our Artists page.

Our Team

We are a skilled and dedicated team of specialist arts workers. Most are musicians or other types of artists themselves. They are committed to the mission and development of the organisation.

Formed in 1997, by Tom Andrews, Music for Change evolved from a community project based in Canterbury, called “Under One Sky”. It has grown from a fledgling charity to its current position in the arts sector. Tom has recently acquired a Clore-Duffield Fellowship.
